About Me

Hi, I'm Jess – a chartered and HCPC registered (PH109457) Physiotherapist with nearly 10 years of experience working within the NHS. Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting people from all walks of life—helping them manage pain, recover from injury or surgery, and improve their overall mobility and independence.

I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from St. George's, University of London in 2016. Upon qualification, I commenced work within the NHS, undertaking a series of foundation rotations in respiratory care, medical rehabilitation, orthopaedics, musculoskeletal outpatients, and neurology. These rotations were instrumental in developing my clinical competence and versatility as a physiotherapist.

Since 2018, I have worked in Admission Avoidance at the Princess Royal University Hospital. In this role, I conduct rapid assessments of patients presenting to the Emergency Department, with a focus on facilitating early discharge and preventing hospital admissions—particularly among adults aged 65 and over.

In 2024, I completed an MSc in Gerontology at the University of Stirling. This, coupled with my clinical experience, has enabled me to develop a specialist focus in the management of frailty and geriatric care.

I started this at-home physiotherapy service to bring expert care directly to your doorstep. I understand how challenging it can be to travel to appointments, especially when you're in pain or recovering. That’s why I focus on making high-quality, personalised physiotherapy more accessible and convenient—so you can feel better, faster, in the comfort of your own home.

My approach is all about compassionate, evidence-based care. I take the time to listen, understand your goals, and work with you to build a treatment plan that suits your lifestyle.

I can help with many challenges you may experience, including:

  • Falls

  • Reduced balance or strength

  • Loss of confidence with walking indoors or outdoors, stairs, or any daily activities

  • Rehabilitation after a long hospital stay

  • Rehabilitation after a stroke or joint replacement surgery

  • Vestibular conditions including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) or Vestibular Neuritis

I can also conduct home environmental assessments to reduce risk of falls.
